Venue Sales Manager
Company: The Addison Grove & Prospect House
Type: Full-Time
Location: Austin, TX
Job Description:
Heyens Hospitality owns and operates two premier wedding and event venues in the Austin area: The Addison Grove and Prospect House. We are seeking a Venue Sales Manager to guide couples through the process of choosing their venue, from first inquiry through signed contract.
Choosing a wedding venue is one of the first and most significant decisions a couple makes, and it sets the tone for everything that follows. This role exists to make that decision feel clear and well supported. You will host tours, listen carefully to what each couple envisions, answer questions honestly, and help them arrive at a confident decision about where they want to celebrate. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys people and takes real pride in how our clients are cared for from the very first conversation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for couples and families inquiring about our venues.
- Host personalized tours at The Addison Grove and Prospect House.
- Take time to understand each couple's vision, priorities, and budget, and help them determine whether our venues are the right fit.
- Communicate our offerings, pricing, and policies clearly and transparently.
- Stay in thoughtful, consistent contact with couples throughout their decision process.
- Guide qualified couples to a confident decision and manage contracts through signing.
- Introduce couples to our in-house services, including Native Bloom Floral and wedding planning, where they are a genuine fit.
- Maintain accurate client records and reporting in our CRM.
- Build relationships with planners, caterers, and other Austin wedding professionals.
- Represent Heyens Hospitality at showcases, open houses, and industry events.
Qualifications:
Required:
- A demonstrated record of building relationships and guiding clients to a decision.
- Genuinely warm and personable, with the ability to establish trust quickly.
- Excellent judgment and discretion in conversations that are often emotional and personal.
- Strong organization and follow-through across many active conversations at once.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; polished and professional in person.
- Comfortable with CRM systems and reporting.
- Available to work evenings and weekends based on tour and event schedules, and to work across both properties.
Strongly Preferred:
- Working knowledge of the wedding industry: the planning process, the vendor community, and typical client expectations.
- Experience in luxury or high-touch hospitality, or a comparable client-facing role.
- Previous venue, planning, catering, or floral experience.
- Established relationships in the Austin wedding community.
- Dubsado, Tripleseat, or comparable CRM experience.
Why This Role:
This is a meaningful seat at a company that has built its reputation on how well it takes care of people. Our venues are established and well regarded, our inquiry volume is strong, and the person in this role plays a defining part in how every client experiences Heyens Hospitality from the very beginning.
Compensation includes a competitive base salary plus performance-based earnings, paid time off, with full details shared during the interview process.
