Job Description:
As an Event Bartender at Heyens Hospitality, you will play an essential role in creating an exceptional guest experience at The Addison Grove and Prospect House. We are seeking experienced, energetic, and hospitality-focused bartenders who thrive in fast-paced event environments. In this role, you will provide polished and engaging bar service while maintaining the high standards of professionalism, hospitality, and guest care that define our venues. Your ability to work efficiently, connect with guests, and collaborate with the event team will help create seamless and memorable celebrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exceptional Guest Service: Deliver warm, attentive, and engaging service while creating a welcoming bar experience for every guest.
- Beverage Preparation & Service: Prepare classic, mixed, and signature cocktails accurately and efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation standards.
- Responsible Alcohol Service: Follow all TABC regulations, venue policies, and responsible alcohol service practices throughout each event.
- Bar Setup & Breakdown: Assist with complete bar setup, stocking, organization, breakdown, and end-of-event reset.
- Bar Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout service.
- Event Adaptability: Adjust quickly to changing event needs, timelines, guest volume, and service styles while remaining composed and professional.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with Bar Leads, Site Managers, and fellow event staff to ensure smooth service and an exceptional overall guest experience.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of bartending experience preferred.
- Wedding, catering, banquet, or high-volume event experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, and proper drink preparation.
- Current TABC certification required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with a hospitality-focused mindset.
- Ability to remain organized and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
- Strong weekend and evening availability.
- Ability to work approximately 8–10 hour event shifts.
- Flexible schedule with availability based on event bookings.
