Don't Let Monday Stop You From Thinking About Sunday!
It’s your wedding weekend, why not be a little extra and use the weekend to your advantage?!? Sunday is still a part of the weekend and even though Monday is right next door, people are still in relaxation mode. today, We're sharing why Sundays can be one of the best days to say ‘I DO’! a little something we like to call Sunday funday - wedding style!
Start and finish your weekend with your closest friends and family members. Welcome your guests who are traveling near or far, on Friday, as you prep for the big day ahead. This gives you extra time to chat with guests and for them to feel a part of your wedding weekend.
on Saturday, you can gather your bridesmaids, groomsmen, friends and family for a brunch before you start to get ready for rehearsal activities. This is a great time to shower your best gals, mates and family members with their wedding gifts. I mean who doesn’t love to give back to the people who are supporting you?! This allows your rehearsal dinner time to be more socializing and mingling and relaxation.
The key component when starting your wedding planning process is finding your ideal venue and asking about their availability. Most venues do book the more popular dates a year out (if not farther). However, their follow up would be to discuss your interest in a Sunday date, which comes with a lot more perks then you might think. Choosing a Sunday date opens up your chances to have your ideal vendors such as photographer, planner, boutique rentals and more. Perks of picking a less in demand day!!
You know your guests best, choosing a Sunday could be a hiccup for some, but there are options to make them feel a bit better knowing they might have work the next day. We enjoy a traditional wedding day, however, we also love a good original wedding day too. With Sunday being a day of ‘relaxation’ for some, a brunch wedding is perfect. A late morning ceremony followed by a delicious meal, festive drinks, yummy treats as a favor, and of course lots of mingling with lawn games on the patio. I mean who doesn’t love a wedding + Brunch?! This options Allows guests to still enjoy their Sunday evening and get ready for the week ahead. Although, this wedding day may sound like the perfect day for some, it may not to others. Another wedding day recommendation would be to start your ceremony a little earlier in the afternoon than normal, for example, 4pm instead of 5:30pm. This gives you your classic wedding timeline feel of ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing except for it ending around 9pm to allow guests to still have time to prep for their Monday morning.
